Stuck Inside

This is how B spends her time inside.

She has become obsessed with the basketball since she got to play with a real one outside. . . Once upon a time when there wasn't a foot+ of snow on the ground.

When the basketball can't keep her entertained B asks Daddy to go "Wee". This means she wants to spin around until she is dizzy.

B lays her head on Daddy's shoulder when she gets dizzy. This is about as cuddly as she gets. We have to take it when we can.

Snow, Again!

The forecast was for approximately 1 inch of snow. The official total was 19 inches. Somebody really got it wrong.

D was digging out a co-workers car in our driveway. He was stranded with us for 24 hours due to the weather.

The snow is just about as deep as the day we moved into this house.

Mommy's Gone

Mommy was out of town for a weekend and Daddy needed some help, so Grandma came and played with me.

Daddy helped me build this tower. Then I got to knock it down.

Someone has to keep things organized while Mommy's gone.

Kitty

B loves the kitty, but the kitty does not love B as much. The kitty tolerates B for a little while, but then lets her know what she thinks.

B loves to pet the kitty and give her kisses especially when the kitty is asleep.

I don't know what the kitty was thinking. She must have been confused. We have never seen anything like this before (or since).

Crazy?

After we thought that we would not be going to Bemidji to celebrate our nephew's birthday the weather cleared some and we decided to go. We didn't have too much trouble, just a few bad roads and some light snow. I wasn't the driver so maybe D would say it was worse than I thought it was. Maybe we were crazy to go, but we had a great time with D's sister and her family.
D's sister had some friend who had a blow up bouncy gym/castle and all the kids had a great time jumping in it.

Daddy even had to join B in the fun for a while.

Aunt S is a good cook. We have never seen B get so messy at a meal, or eat so much!

Snow Day

Our plans for the weekend changed when we got all of this snow. We were supposed to go to Bemidji to see D's sister's family and celebrate our nephew's 1st birthday. The weather made us change our plans. Here is what we got to do instead. It is still snowing, so we will probably be able to do all of this again.

B loves to watch Daddy use the snow blower. She thinks it's a tractor.

B also thought she should get out and help Daddy with the scooping.

Playing in the snow was a lot of fun for B. We had tried it before but she didn't like it.
Today she didn't want to go inside.

Hanging Out

Cousin C was here on Easter. We were just hangin' out on this big comfy pillow. We had a lot to chat about.
Lounging in my chair with Ba-Ba and Baby. I know they aren't creative names, but I love them. I take them everywhere Mommy will let me. Mommy says this is one of the rare times I sat still. Notice the past tense, because it hasn't happened since.

Spring Is Finally Here

We had to get outside when we had one nice day. That only means that it was more than 40 degrees.
Wagon rides are always fun!

B is looking outside at all the birds. She loves to watch them and wishes she was out there to.

Winter Play Time

B entertains herself by imitating Daddy. What else are you going to do when it is always below zero outside.B loves to talk on the phone. Especially to daddy when he is at work. I wonder where she gets that from.
Daddy's boots provide great entertainment, whether B is wearing them or putting her toys in them.
B thinks our bed is a lot of fun. She insists on laying under the covers whenever she is in our room. She has also started putting her baby down for "nigh-nigh" in our bed.
